“Liquid Nitrogen expands really vigorously at ambient temperature to a rate of 1:700 and it’s impossible to contain in its liquid form unless you keep it a -200C. So I used this principle to shot a nerf dart. The liquid nitrogen will expand inside the chamber and the best way to escape is the burst disk (at about 17 bar). It works amazing, so much fun to make and use! One of my favorite project of 2017!”
